We are hell-bent on creating great whiskey and paying homage to Indiana’s rich distilling history.

As three Indiana natives, brothers Blake Jones and Julian Jones, and childhood best friend David McIntyre, from Bedford, Indiana, shared a dream of starting their own business. After years in the financial world they decided to take a bold leap: cashing out their 401Ks to start a whiskey distillery in Indianapolis. Despite the financial risks, they secured a warehouse, learned the art of distillation, and navigated the complexities of permits and marketing.

Their dedication paid off when they launched West Fork Whiskey Co. in 2014. Local acclaim grew rapidly, fueled by their unique story of friendship and risk-taking. They became known for their quality products and community-centric approach, hosting tours and tastings that showcased their craftsmanship. Their journey—from risking retirement savings to building a thriving distillery—stands as a testament to passion, perseverance, and the rewards of pursuing a shared dream.
